Soprano Xine Catalan and pianist Jonathan Bailey present a programme of classical French songs, by Fauré, Debussy, Ravel, Duparc and others inspired by the Four Elements of nature.  Earth, Water, Air, and Fire are ancient philosophical and spiritual concepts used to explain the makeup of the universe.

Proposed by Greek philosopher Empedocles around 450 BC, these elements still heavily influence astrology, esoteric traditions, modern media and poets.
