Under the direction of James Naylor, Waltham Forest Community Choir will share songs connected with:
LGBTQ+ rights and the fight for equality
The American Civil Rights movement
The Suffrage movement
Resistance to Apartheid
Voices of hope amid the Ukraine war
And other stories of courage, solidarity, and change
These are songs that have carried people through dark and uncertain times — songs of protest, resilience and hope that still speak powerfully today.
