St John's Community Cinema presents Hitchcock’s ‘The Lady Vanishes’

This Summer at St John’s there’s a special Film Weekender as part of The Summer at St John’s event.

The first showing for August is a special one! The evening starts with a talk from Gary Lewis who delivers his special talk called Hitchcocks Leytonstone - all about Alfred Hitchcocks early life in Leytonstone and how the area influenced Hitchcock’s movie career.

This is followed by a screening of one of Hitchcock’s famous movie - The Lady Vanishes!

‍ ‍· Time: Doors open at 6:00pm | Hitchcock Talk at 6:30pm and Film at 7.30pm

‍ ‍· Running Time: 92 minutes

‍ ‍· Where: St John the Baptist's Church, 825 High Rd Leytonstone, Bushwood, London E11 1HH

‍ · Entry:Free or "Pay What You Can" (Suggested donation: £3 person / £6 family) - no need to book, just turn up!

‍ ‍· Teens: Free!

‍ ‍· Food & Drink: Some refreshments will be available, or bring your own snacks.

‍ ‍· Accessibility: Captioned for the D/deaf, deafened or hard of hearing. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible via a ramp and has toilets for the less mobile.

‍ ‍   Feel free to bring a cushion to sit on!‍ ‍
