Raw Canvas Editions is delighted to announce our upcoming Christmas show, a homecoming exhibition featuring the evocative works of Carne Griffiths. Returning to his roots, Carne began his commercial career here in Leytonstone, and this exhibition celebrates his connection to the usually unseen wildlife of our area. Known for his intricate, highly detailed water colours, Carne brings the same intensity and sensitivity he applies to his portraits to his exploration of street wildlife, capturing character and movement with precision.

This show will be a rare chance to experience a personal, intimate body of work in our community setting, bridging the gap between the artist’s early days and his current practice.

The exhibition will run at Back to Ours Cafe, Good Shepherd Studios, from Wednesday 9th December 2025 until Monday 27th January 2026.

Opening Night: Join us for the launch with Carne on Friday 12th December, from 6.30–8.30pm, which will coincide with our second Open Editions, our Leytonstone networking evening for artists and art fans. It’s a opportunity to meet fellow creatives, enjoy the show, and celebrate our festive evening together.
